Skills & learning
My public Pluralsight profile shows my growing skill set—so colleagues and collaborators can see the technologies and topics I am actively developing in support of institutional effectiveness and educational technology.
Additional Projects
For the 2026–2027 academic year, the ZTC Pathway Mapper is the only public application on this site. A broader reference library of documentation and guides may appear here later.
About
Hello! I'm Bradley Franklin, an education technology professional specializing in data-driven institutional effectiveness and innovative learning solutions.
As a California Community College administrator and IT professional, I bridge the gap between higher education administration and technology innovation.
My current focus centers on Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) initiatives, where I develop data visualization tools and analytical frameworks to track course adoption patterns, measure program impact, and support institutional decision-making. This work involves processing complex datasets across multiple academic pathways (Cal-GETC, Communication Studies) and ZTC classification types (ZTCA, ZTCC, ZTCE, ZTCF, ZTCG, LCT), transforming raw institutional data into actionable intelligence.
I bring a unique combination of administrative insight and technical capability to every project. My approach emphasizes user-centered design, accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1), and creating production-ready solutions that serve both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic planning.
Recent highlights include developing the ZTC Pathway Mapper—a comprehensive web application featuring real-time data filtering, multi-format export capabilities, and ADA-compliant design. This project evolved from proof-of-concept to a portfolio-quality tool that demonstrates both technical proficiency and practical institutional impact.
Beyond my professional role, I am pursuing doctoral studies where I continue exploring the intersection of educational technology, data analytics, and institutional effectiveness. My work reflects a commitment to leveraging technology to enhance educational access, affordability, and student success.
